Precoro connects the controls that shape a purchase upstream with the workflows that execute it downstream. Budgets, suppliers, approvals, requests, orders, receipts, invoices, and payments stay part of the same procurement context — so visibility can lead to action, not just reporting.
Procurify’s AI turns quotes into requests that follow existing approval workflows. Teams can add only up to 10 custom request fields, but the process itself is relatively simple for new users.
Start with structured demand instead of fixing requests downstream. Precoro can turn supplier quotes into structured purchase requests, while configurable forms and custom fields capture the context Procurement and Finance need before approving spend.
Procurify handles the budgeting basics well. You can set budgets, monitor spend, and track budget status, with budget-to-actual variance insights on the reporting side.
With Precoro, you can both see the budget and act on it. Track spend in real time, apply budgets across periods or locations, and set rules for what happens during overruns.
Procurify routes documents through established approval chains to one or multiple approvers, with delegation for absences and a mobile app for on-the-go approvals.
Precoro lets teams tailor approval routing to the way the business actually operates, including different amounts, entities, departments, budgets, and purchasing scenarios. Parallel workflows, mobile approvals, and approval SLAs help keep decisions moving without weakening control.
Inventory isn’t Procurify’s strongest suit. Teams can track order status and confirm deliveries, but stock monitoring or warehouse management are outside the system’s scope.
Precoro tracks the purchase from the PO to the warehouse, with every movement recorded in the system. Monitor stock in real time, get low-level alerts, and transfer items between locations.
Procurify covers the essentials, like centralization, manual vendor set-up, and a selection of 25 PunchOuts. It’s primarily buyer-centric, with less focus on the vendor’s experience.
Vendors onboard themselves and collaborate in Precoro through the Supplier Portal. Alongside official PunchOuts, you can add any supplier via the Universal PunchOut Connector without a formal integration.
Users get a well-rounded set of AP features, including AI-driven OCR, bill payments, and spending cards. Note that AP comes as an add-on.
AP stays connected to the purchasing context that created the invoice. Capture invoice data with AI, match it against linked POs and receipts, surface exceptions for review, and keep the transaction traceable through approval and downstream finance workflows.
Procurify supports direct bill payments through a linked bank account. Scheduled and batch payments round out Procurify’s AP functionality.
For eligible U.S. customers, Precoro Payments can close the procure-to-pay loop inside the same operational workflow. Approved payments stay connected to the original purchase, supplier, invoice, and supporting records instead of becoming a separate finance-side transaction.
