What is A+B bidding?

A+B bidding is a construction contract method that awards projects based on both cost (“A”) and time (“B”). The formula is A + (B × daily road user cost). Contractors are paid for the “A” cost only, but the “B” factor decides the award, encouraging faster completion and discouraging delays.
