What is warehouse credit?

A short-term loan that allows a business to use its inventory or unpaid loans as collateral to access quick funds. This type of credit helps free up cash to purchase more stock or cover ongoing expenses without using the company’s own capital. The term can also refer to credit issued for requisitioned supplies or excess items that must be returned to a warehouse.
