Now, you have two efficient ways to procure from Amazon Business. With Punch-In, you can start directly on Amazon Business, complete your checkout, and find a ready-made purchase order waiting in Precoro. Alternatively, using PunchOut, begin with a purchase requisition in Precoro then seamlessly transition to Amazon Business to select items, with order details automatically populating your PR document upon return.
No matter which method better suits your existing processes, you'll experience faster requesting, centralized record-keeping, and reduced maverick spending — all through Precoro and Amazon Business integration.

What Is Amazon Business PunchOut and How Does it Differ from Punch-In?
The key difference between PunchOut and Punch-In is where the process starts. PunchOut begins in Precoro, while Punch-In starts directly on Amazon Business.
With Amazon Business PunchOut, users first need to create a PR in Precoro. They are then redirected to Amazon Business, where they can browse and select items. The details of their selections—such as product descriptions, pricing, and quantities—are automatically imported into the Precoro PR for approval and record-keeping.
In contrast, Punch-In starts on Amazon Business. Users log in to Amazon with their organization's credentials, shop, and add items to their cart. Getting Started with the Amazon Business PunchOut Integration
To configure the Amazon Business PunchOut integration, please refer to this article on our Knowledge Base. Once set up, you'll be ready to place your first order:
- Navigate to the Purchase Requisition management page within Precoro.
- Click the “Request from Amazon” button. Fill out the initial fields required for the PR and then click “Create”.
- From here, you’ll be automatically redirected to Amazon Business. Fill your shopping cart and proceed to checkout.
- Fill in the delivery and contact information. After checkout, you will automatically be redirected back to Precoro, with all order details populated in your purchase requisition.
- Review the populated PR and enter custom fields if needed.
- Once the PR and related PO document have gone through the approval workflow in Precoro, the order gets officially placed with Amazon Business.
